Happy Little Trees

So, yesterday was Earth Day and nobody knew better than Bob Ross what a mood-lifter a tree could be.

Or some spunky little flowers. Or a giggling little brook…

Good old Bob.

He might have been the painter of the happy nature, but we can be the PLANTERS of that happy nature!

It’s April!
Gets some dirt in those nails, people!

You don’t have to go big. A window box!

‘Hellooo?  A six- inch deep  box of home-grown joy!

Flowers, Um, yes?

Herbs? Yum yes!

Succulents? Who are you? Martha flippin’ Stewart?

How happy are those little nuggets?

If you’re feeling more adventurous or just accidentally got an extra shot of espresso in your mochaccino, how about a flower bed?

Plant an Azalea and Future You
will thank every time that sucker blooms.

Or, if you’re just plain hard-core, plant that dang tree.

People do it. It’s a thing.

Flowering, fruiting...who cares? When Karen calls to tell you how she saved $23 at Costco, you can be all like,

“Sooo great for you, Karen! All I did was plant a freakin TREE.”

And when you put your feet up to gaze at your tree, take deep breath, look up at the fluffy little clouds floating above and -if you listen closely-  you may just hear Bob Ross’ voice whispering…

 “ Now, isn’t that a happy little tree…?”
