The Art of Cooking Without Shopping

It’s January something.
The weather is bleh.

So some of us are cooking.
And eating.

And repeating...

Apparently Cooking is a type of “action therapy” or something like that.

So, that pasta carbonara?
It’s a bowl of creamy sanity.

Those cinnamon buns?
Nuggets of frosted, buttery Zen.

But masking up and trying to get creative are the tough parts.

So how about a meal plan!

I’ve tried a few, there’s one for everyone, I swear. Some are a zillion dollars a week and some are for vegeteble-tarians. It’s a word. I made it up.

(If your fave isn’t listed, mention it in the comments or message me!)

Purple Carrot

If you can live without cheese. Or meat. Or eggs. This one is for you. No judgement! Have at it! But you will be paying top dollar for veggies. And gorgeous packaging with save-able recipe cards!

Martha and Marley Spoon

Not gonna lie. I love it. The meals are amazing. You can opt for 30 minutes and under, lo-carb, so many options. Look it over and drool over the meals. They are crazy good. Like every, single time.

Dinnerly

I love Dinnerly for the way it offers meal plans at $5 a pop! Really good food. But no recipe cards, just online videos and help. If you’re cool with a no-frills option, Dinnerly may be a nice option. Not as many dietary variations, but again—$5! And yummy!

HelloFresh

The Big Standard for home meal delivery. Many options. Dietary plans. Fantastic recipe cards and back-up. If you’re cool with the cost, it might be the right one for you! Very creative recipes for different skill levels. Which is nice.

So, it’s definitely not all of them, because there are now about 137 options. But a little “taste” of the meal-plan choices you have!

If January doesn’t give us anything else, it’s the meal home-delivery, and I personally am taking it.

And cooking it.

And eating it!...
