Flipped, not flopped.

So we all know the northeast Ohio real estate market has been an exciting time for most sellers the past few years. The second a home hits the market, sellers are flooded with buyers waiving offers in their faces, screaming “pick me, pick me”.

All too often, in a good market, comes investors that want to try their hand at “flipping” houses. The home usually results a basic bitch, pumpkin spice latte, gray floor, gray wall, and quite frankly, just plain boring finish.

That’s where these two come in. Shawn Crone, of SLC Design Co, @slcdesignco, and his partner Robbie Fox are about to change the way these flip homes are done. The past three years the duo have been renovating their Merriman Rd property from top to bottom. The amount of looky-lou’s, wanting to know whats next is plentiful.

Their goal is to create new spaces from old worn out, forgotten spots, made up of thoughtful design, and a uniqueness that will be recognized for a long time to come.

I’ve been fortunate enough to partner with Shawn on many design jobs. There will be plenty of those creative projects featured, but in the meantime, watch the video and peruse the before and after photos of this gem they completed in about 3 1/2 months. BTW, it sold in two days, with multiple offers.
