Don’t Take Those Countertops for Granite

Ahhh…the 70’s.

Bunny ears to get TV channels, no seatbelts, Velveeta, and neon countertops.

Tangerine. Aquamarine. Alllll the marines…

But, somewhere in the 1980’s, some rich folk said, “No laminate for us!” And found cray-cray expensive granite slabs to make their kitchen decor sing.

Us normal folk couldn’t even consider such luxury at the price, but the design universe heard our call, began quarrying natural stone, and said, “We can sell it to you for less!”

And the Granite Era was born.

This isn’t “fact-checked” but every hour 4 gazillion Ohio home-buyers look for “stainless steel and granite” in their home searches.

The fun part is, granite is great! But others are too. Maybe even -dare I say- better..?

Natural stone is da bomb, but there’s a bunch of options that may appeal to you even more.

Like, marble…

travertine…

soapstone…

or quartz!…

Quartz is actually more durable, requires less maintenance, is more customizable, and (a bit) less expensive than granite, and is just as beautiful!

As always, classic and neutral are the safest, surest ways to make your investment a success.

Whether it’s an upgrade for you or a re-sell.

Did you also know that a mid-range kitchen remodel is the biggest bang for your re-sell buck than any other project?

Cha. Ching!

So, maybe you’re looking to buy. Or sell. Or make your space nicer for YOU.

Countertops offer a hefty bang for your buck, with a substantial interior decorating oomph!

Just remember that granite may be grand, but other (natural) stone can be stupendous!

Even more than Velveeta Mac-n-cheez?

Welllll, almost…
